With all the scary stuff going on in the world, how about a little mindless house-candy?

This sparkling jewel in Medford, Oregon is astonishing. I say that because my eyeballs about popped out of their sockets when I saw the photos.

It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Shone-Charley House, but more lovingly referred to as Waverly Cottage.

The cottage is currently used as a Bed & Breakfast but it is also for sale for $349,000.

Dating back to 1898, this Victorian has been restored within an inch of its life. Gutted, replastered, new foundation, heating, plumbing, electrical, windows, roof, gutters, paint; you name it, she’s had the work done.

And as you can see, she is all decked out in period antiques!

It’s all so perfect… except for the box of Special K in the center. But we’ll look past that detail. (Kellogg’s was around back then, right?)
