Number Five: One of the Richest Bloggers -Timothy Sykes

Timothy Sykes earns about $150,000 to $180,000 per month from blogging. Timothy is a stock trader and expert who created a very successful blog related to stocks, of course. He is also known for having used his bar mitzvah money to make over a million dollars in trading during his time as a student at Tulane University.

Number Four: Vitaly Friedman

Vitaly comes in at number four, earning about $150,000 to $190,000 a month from his blogging work. Vitaly created Smashing Magazine, which is an online publication for web designers and web developers. The magazine includes tutorials for website creators.

Number Three: Perez Hilton

Maybe the most recognizable of anyone on this list in terms of name recognition, Perez Hilton makes about $200,000 to $400,000 a month from his blogging activities alone. The blogger and television personality’s real name is actually Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr., but his blog can be found at It is a gossip blog.

Number Two: Pete Cashmore

Pete Cashmore earns somewhere between $560,000 to $600,000 per month from his blog Mashable, and his name is an inspiration to us all. Cashmore created the site Mashable, which is in the top 10 tech blogs in the world. He is actually Scottish and started the blog in Aberdeen at the age of just 19 back in 2005.

 Number One: J. Michael Arrington

J. Michael Arrington comes in first place on our list of the top 10 richest bloggers in the world, earning about $500,000 to $800,000 per month for blogging. Michael Arrington is the founder of TechCrunch, which is yet another tech blog. It covers Silicon Valley start-ups as well as tech innovations throughout the world.
