But now it is a full-time career course, as is evidenced by the ten well-off bloggers on this list. Many of the names here are in the tech fields, but it is also possible to make a ton of money blogging about subjects like entertainment, the stock exchange and more. Ewdison Then earns $60,00 to $80,000 per month. He one of the founders of R3 Media LLC, which is the company that has created SlashGear and Android communities. He has a background in high-performance computing and his blog is popular for its use as an announcement page for new gadgets and apps that its readers can get their hands on (so to speak).

Number Nine: Matt Marshall

Matt Marshall makes about $50,000 to $100,00 per month. This blogger was once a journalist with some success but began blogging ten years ago. His blog is VentureBeat and it covers entrepreneurship, technology and innovation.

Number Eight: Gina Trapani

Gina makes $110,00 per month. Unfortunately, Gina is the only woman to top this list. She is the founder of Lifehacker, which is a blog about – you guessed it – life hacks. But it also covers new software. She is also involved with projects such as ThinkUp and Experts Labs.

Number Seven: Collis Ta’eed

Collies earns about $55,000 to $120,000 per month. He is the co-founder of Envato, which is a business that operates digital markets for selling stock assets for web designers. He also owns TutsPlus, which is a blog that offers online classes on web design, web development and arts courses.

Number Six: Jake Dobkin

Jake earns about $80,000 to $110,000 per month. Jake is the creator of, which is a well-known blog (outside of tech, unlike many of the others on this list). Gothamist covers the cultural events in cities across the world, from New York to London to Shanghai – and beyond.
