Why live in a Beverly Hills mansion when you can live in this wicked thing?

And who, pray tell, gets to call the famed Witch’s House his personal home?

This lucky guy!

Sometimes referred to as The Spadena House, the unique structure was built back in 1920 at Willat Studios as a set for silent films.

It was also used as a studio office until it was moved to Beverly Hills in the mid 1920’s by a producer who wanted to save it from being demolished.

It was Ward Lascelle (pictured above) who relocated the home to a lot he had purchased in Beverly Hills and retrofitted it to be used as a private residence.

The Green family then purchased the home in 1965.

The current owner – realtorĀ Michael J. Libow – acquired the home in 1998 and has been restoring it ever since.

A fun witch-y theme is evident throughout the home.

How would you like to lounge in this funky tub:

I just wanted to point out the irony in the fact that this bewitching house is owned by a man.

If House Crazy Sarah ever won the lottery, she might be able to afford the landmark home. Then she would become the wicked house witch of Beverly Hills.

Kinda has a ring to it eh?
