Subway Surfers: 11 Fast Facts About Kiloo’s Addictive Game

Subway Surfers is a mobile game developed as a collaborative effort between Kiloo and Sybo Games has exploded in popularity since its release in 2012. However, despite its continued presence in the public eye, there are still some things about the game that most people don’t know. Here, we present our list of 11 fast and fascinating facts you definitely (probably) didn’t know about Subway Surfers. Check it out for yourself below!

Number Eleven: Subway Surfers Get Around

In the game, the surfers have visited an impressive 20 countries! On top of that, they’ve been to all but one continent – the last unexplored continent is, of course, Antarctica.

Number Ten: The Complete Crew Is the Size of Four Full Soccer Teams

Together, there are 47 members in the Surfers’ crew. That’s enough to make four full soccer teams!

Number Nine: There Are 52 Boards in a Collection

The game’s players can use all sorts of different boards to get around. Altogether, the entire collection of boards available in the game numbers 52. That’s a lot of gear!

Number Eight: Over 600,000,000 Kilometers Every Day

Each day, all of the surfers travel a whopping 600 million kilometers. That’s enough distance to go to the sun and back down to earth not once, but twice!

Number Seven: Faster Than Usain Bolt

While there aren’t any speedometers to indicate how fast the surfers go in the game, translated into the real world, they would reach some insane top speeds. In a real world setting, Jake and his crew could reach speeds of up to 99 kilometers per hour. That’s more than twice the top speed of world champion Usain Bolt!

Number Six: The First Limited Character

The first limited character released by Subway Surfers was Zombie Jake. Zombie Jake was released by the game during Halloween of 2012.

Number Five: The Fastest Board

If you’ve got a need for speed, make sure you use the Daredevil. As previously mentioned, the game doesn’t feature speedometers, but translated into the real world, the board would reach a top speed of 150 kilometers per hour. That makes it the fastest board in the entire game.

Number Four: 27,000,000 People Every Day

Every single day, about 27,000,000 people play Subway Surfers. This translates into roughly 130,000,000 people playing each month!

Number Three: The World’s Longest Train Tracks

The tracks featured in the game are the longest train tracks in the world. That’s because they are virtually infinite and never end.

Number Two: The Fourth Most Downloaded Game

The game is the fourth most downloaded game of all time – it’s true! It’s behind Candy Crush Saga, Fruit Ninja, and Angry Birds.

Number One: More Than One Billion Downloads

Since its release, the game has been downloaded more than one billion times and continues to grow in popularity every day. Thanks for reading!
