Russell Wilson: 15 Things You Didn’t Know (Part 2)

We already brought you part one of this list of facts about Russell Wilson, the successful quarterback of the Seattle Seahawks. There are still plenty of interesting facts to share about the athlete, so we’re back with part two.

Number Eight: Confident And Hard to Figure Out

“You could tell him the sky is blue and he would be like, ‘No, man, the sky is green,'” his brother Harry has said.¬†Harry also says Russell is the most confident person he knows, and a mystery.

Number Seven: Russell Wilson And His Wrist Bands

The football star wears a couple rope bands around his wrists. One of these is in memory of his dad, Harrison Wilson. His father passed away in 2010 due to diabetes-related complications, and this bracelet is very important to him.

Number Six: He Was a Bully

Russell openly admits that he wasn’t the kindest of kids. He was a bully who would beat people up, throw them against the wall and knock out their teeth. Apparently his brother Harry claims something different and says his brother never terrorized other kids.

Number Five: Losing Anger, Finding God

When he was 14, his anger started disappearing, and he found God one evening at football camp. In a dream, he discovered his father wouldn’t always be there and that he needed to get right with God.

Number Four: Hyper-Focus and Possibly OCD

Russell’s brother Harry has said that Wilson just may have OCD. He is super focused, detail-oriented, and whatever it is, he’s got a crazy amount of it.

Number Three: He Keeps Emotional Issues Inside

He was married to his high school sweetheart back in the year 2012. They divorced about two years later, and he was so close-mouthed about it that even his brother wasn’t aware the couple were having problems until their marriage was already over.

Number Two: His Little Buddy

Wilson hosts a football camp, and his old fling’s son comes to visit, accompanied by his nanny, sometimes. This is one of the few times that Russell shows his soft side.

Number One: 11th Grade Dreams

He’s been planning to have a football camp since he was in 11th grade. If he can positively impact just one child, everything is worth it. We hope you enjoyed part two of our list.
