Pakistan, a great country, is too often overlooked. There’s many incredible facts about the nation that we simply can’t hold in any longer. Here are just some of them. Stay tuned for part 2, coming soon!

Number Fifteen: It’s Not 100 Percent Muslim

It is commonly known that Pakistan is the nation with the highest number of Muslims (under Indonesia), but for some reason, people assume that the entire nation is Muslim. This is not the case. While certainly the people are mostly so, about 1.5 percent of the people are actually Christain.

Number Fourteen: It’s Irrigation Kingdom

Something which is really cool about Pakistan is that it has the largest irrigation system in the entire world. It is even bigger than Americas or Russia’s systems, which are also quite large.

Number Thirteen: It’s the Perfect Place for Emergencies

Of course, no one wants to have an emergency. However, if you do have an emergency, it is best if you are in Pakistan. This is because Pakistan has the largest number of ambulances in the entire world. Basically, if you’re in this country, you’ll be covered if something bad happens.

Number Twelve: Pakistan Love Dolphins

The people of the nation don’t love any dolphins, though. In actuality, they admire a specific type of dolphin known as the blind dolphin, which swims in the Indus river. Anyone who sees this creature can tell how different it is from oceanic dolphins.

Number Eleven: Its Highways Are Really, Really High

There are a lot of paved roads in the world now, that much is true. However, none are as high as the Karakoram Highway, which is situated over 15 thousand feet!

Number Ten: It Makes More Than Half of the World’s Soccer Balls

This nation produces over half of all the soccer balls in the world. That means if you have a soccer ball in your home, it’ll most likely have been made in Pakistan, which is a crazy thing to realize.

Number Nine: It’s Home to the World’s Largest Seaport

Gwadar, Pakistan is yet another reason why this nation is quite fascinating. If you don’t know Gwadar, it’s the largest sea port in the entire world. This means that a plethora of countries around the world trade here, which is mind boggling.
