This was for the film Drop Dead Gorgeous. In the movie, she played a small town beauty pageant contestant.

Number Seven: She’s Not Really a Redhead

Although her red hair is now one of the most recognizable features of the star, she is actually a blonde naturally. She went red after moving to Los Angeles and often being chosen for roles portraying her as a “bitchy girl”.

Number Six: Meryl Streep Taught Her to Knit

Adams knows how to knit. This is thanks to someone she co-starred with, Meryl Streep. She taught her this craft on the set of the film Doubt.

Number Five: She Won a Golden Globe

She earned this prestigious award for her role in American Hustle. Not only this, but she also received five Academy Award nominations for her acting in the same film.

Number Four: She’s a Film Enthusiast

Some of Amy’s favorite films include Gone with the Wind, Paulie, The Wizard of Oz, Vertigo, and The Shawshank Redemption. She claims that Paulie is the one movie she can watch over and over again without getting tired of it.
