10 Most Bizarre Last Meal Requests



What would you have for your last meal? Steak? Lobster? McDonald’s? These 10 bizarre last meal requests from inmates on death row are not only bizarre, but they also edge on unbelievable. Some are delicious, and some are downright weird. But we’ll leave this list up to you to judge!

Number Ten: Peter Kurten. Peter Kurten was known as the Vampire of Dusseldorf and admitted to 79 offenses in court. For his last meal, he requested a plate of wiener schnitzel, fried potatoes and white wine, and he enjoyed it so much he had a second portion!

Number Nine: Timothy McVeigh. Timothy McVeigh murdered 168 people in the Oklahoma City Bombing. For his last meal, he requested two pints of mint chocolate chip ice cream.


Number Eight: Robert Alton Harris. Robert Alton Harris murdered two teenage boys in San Diego in 1978. His last meal consisted of a 21 piece bucket of KFC chicken, two large Domino’s pizzas, a bag of jelly beans, a six-pack of Pepsi and a pack of cigarettes.

Number Seven: Ronnie Lee Gardner. Ronnie Lee Gardner was involved with prostitution, robbery and murder. He requested steak, lobster tail, apple pie, vanilla ice cream and 7 Up for his last meal.


Number Six: Gerald Lee Mitchell. Gerald Lee Mitchell murdered two people as a result of a drug deal gone wrong. His last meal consisted of a bag of Jolly Ranchers.

Number Five: Thomas J. Grasso. Thomas J. Grasso was a thief and murderer. He requested two dozen steamed mussels, two dozen steamed clams with a lemon, a half dozen barbecued spare ribs, a double cheeseburger from Burger King, two strawberry milkshakes, half of a pumpkin pie with whipped cream, diced strawberries, and a 16 ounce can of Spaghetti-O’s. He got everything he wanted except the Spaghetti-O’s.

Number Four: Allen Lee Davis. Allen Lee Davis murdered three women, one of whom was pregnant. His last meal consisted of a lobster tail, half a pound of fried shrimp, six ounces of fried clams, fried potatoes, half of a loaf of garlic bread and 32 ounces of A&W root beer.


Number Three: William Bonin. William Bonin was found guilty of raping, torturing and murdering at least 21 young boys and men. He requested two large pizzas, three pints of ice cream, and 18 cans of coke.

Number Two: Bobby Wayne Woods. Bobby Wayne Woods murdered and raped a girl and abducted her younger brother. For his last meal, he had two chicken fried steaks, three fried pork chops, 2 fried chicken breasts, two hamburgers, four slices of bread, half a pound of fries, half a pound of onion rings, half a pound of chocolate cake and two pitchers of milk.

Number One: Lawrence Brewer. After Brewer’s second stint in prison, he was convicted of another murder that led to his spot on the death row. His last meal request consisted of two chicken-fried steaks with gravy and sliced onions, a triple-patty bacon cheeseburger, a cheese omelette with ground beef, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers and jalapenos, a bowl of fried okra with ketchup, a pound of barbecued meat with half a loaf of white bread, a portion of three fajitas, a meat lover’s pizza, a pint of blue bell ice cream, a slab of fudge with crushed peanuts, and root beer. When he received this, he then refused to eat it, which caused prison officials to get rid of last meal rights altogether.
